Our Secretary of State has made some questionable actions with regards to the state legislature and voting laws, some have called for a full review of the Secretary of State's authority on Minnesota State voting laws, and that is why I want to establish an independent voting commission. No other candidate will talk about voting in Minnesota, and that should give you concern as a voter. If you want to ensure we have a Democracy, it starts at the state level. An independent commission to work along side the legislatures voting commission, outside of the government, that is made up of Minnesota residents. A bipartisan approach outside of the government creates the path toward integrity in our voting system and also reports with complete transparency to the public.

We need to dig deeper into this topic, and follow the U.S. Constitution, which requires a fair and durable voting system for United States citizens. We need to eliminate permanent absentee voting, voting in person or by turning in ballots to the ballot clerk, eliminate voting by mail or ballot box, it needs to be a person to person exchange, similar to New Hampshire's voting procedures. https://www.sos.nh.gov/sites/g/files/ehbemt561/files/inline-documents/sonh/new-hampshire-pocket-voter-guide-v2.pdf

Please join me to ensure democracy through a fair and equitable voting system.
