As parents, we know that when children have access to preschool they are more likely to develop social, emotional, and intellectual skills that will last a lifetime. Iowa, North and South Dakota, and Wisconsin take part in Title 1, which grants states matching dollar for dollar funding just like it does for elementary, middle, and high school students. It is time Minnesota enrolls in Title 1 to ensure a better future for our children, and fund public preschool.
