Many Minnesotans will remember the collective sorrow and heavy heart we felt when Minnesota's finest lost their lives in the line of duty. With the increase in violence against Minnesota citizens and our first responders there is an urgent need to increase funding for public safety. As Governor, I will prioritize funding for our first responders and offer college reimbursements for incentive initiatives for students who will commit to a certain number of years serving their community.
