As I mentioned in my book, I was born and raised in Stillwater Minnesota. After High School I attended Mankato State University and studied construction management. I then moved out to Boulder Colorado and worked as a general contractor. I met my wife in Boulder, we got married and had two wonderful boys, they are 12 and 9 this year. We moved back to Minnesota after our youngest was born and I began working at the City of St. Paul in Construction Management. Today, I an the director of construction management for the city. I oversee hundreds of projects and manage dozens of staffers that make construction on big projects possible for the city. I understand government, I know the culture of the government workforce, and I have met many of our elected officials. I believe I could do more for you as Governor than any other candidate, I also know I will be more truthful about the finances of the state than any other candidate. I believe in a transparent government that works for the people, not for Washington.
